Centerered Leadership Part 1 Process Circles (F18)

Live “Process Circles” are an opportunity to discuss the course materials, ask questions, and share stories with other participants.

It’s best if you can be on video (it’s similar to Skype) with a headset or earbuds to cut down on background noise.  But you can also just call in on a phone.

If you can’t make it, don’t despair!  We’ll record it and you can watch it later.

Module 1-4 Possible Questions for Discussion:

  1. How do Covenants order your personal life intersect with the Covenant of your congregation?
  2. Describe a time when there was a conflict where a covenant was broken. How was it handled? How might it have been handled differently?
  3. Have you experienced the tension between the freedom of the individual and the congregation as an entity? How did it play out?
  4. What do you understand as your congregation’s mission and vision in the world?
  5. When you have experienced disappointment in your congregation, what was it like? How did you respond?  How might you respond differently today?
  6. Describe a time where you experienced a relationship that was the sandpaper that overcame resistance to change?
  7. Where have you seen creative interchange in your congregation?
  8. Please share your own experience of being triangulated (or doing the triangulation) in an unhealthy way.
  9. How well does your congregation make space for dissent?
  10. What are parts of your congregation’s culture that show up in the White Supremacy Culture resource?
